Detailed Summary of The Call of Light – A Ceremonial Oral Teaching

Overall Essence

The Call of Light is a ceremonial oral teaching invoking the Light of the Great Grandmother to guide us in these times of cosmic and earthly change. It teaches that Light is pouring into Gaia and humanity like a rainstorm after drought, but only hearts softened by Courage and Hope can receive it. Through weaving our three voices—pain (Voice 1), remembering (Voice 2), and sacred inner light (Voice 3)—we become not merely responders, but active living participants in the Call of Light.

Invocation

A poetic invitation to sit in dawn’s quiet, listen to volcanoes and lake, and breathe in the Great Grandmother’s Light to awaken to receive the Light of the Heart Within Courage and Hope within one’s seeing.

Teaching: The Call of Light

Affirms that these are not ordinary times; the winds, cosmic waters, and Heart of Earth are stirring. While many only see turmoil, there is also a great fountain of Light cascading into the valleys of life, blessing the land and humanity.

The Way of Receiving

Uses the metaphor of drought-hardened soil that cannot absorb rain to illustrate that unless our hearts and bodies are open and softened into Voice 2 and Voice 3, the Light flows past us, unable to nourish or integrate, sometimes causing disruption.

The Way of Becoming Partners

Reminds that Gaia is a living being woven of both subtle (Devas, nature spirits, elementals) and physical (trees, animals, stones, humans) partners, all called to help receive and integrate these cosmic forces. This is the Call of Light in our time.

The Weaving of Courage and Hope

Describes how we answer this call:

• By walking with Courage and Hope.

• By allowing Voice 1 (pain and fear) to be woven with Voice 2 (remembering and hope).

• This weaving gives rise to Voice 3: the silent Sacred Voice of Inner Light that perceives and lives life through Beauty.

When we walk from this woven Quality of Light, we become not only responders, but living participants embodying what the Call of Light is asking of us.

Final Blessing

Prayers that we become:

• The soft ground that drinks the rain

• The living roots that hold the soil

• The quiet heart that remembers Light is something to live, not seek.

Daily Reflection Prompts

1. Morning Reflection

Softening the heart by receive the Light offered today.

2. Walking Practice

Repeating silently: “I am the roots that hold the soil. I am the heart that drinks the rain of Light.”

3. Midday Pause

When fear or judgment (Voice 1) arises, pausing to breathe and inviting the Light of the Heart Within Courage and Hope (Voice 2) to weave this unknown Light that is emerging into that moment.

4. Evening Reflection

Placing hands on heart before sleep to affirm living as a partner of Light and praying for a deeper remembering of the Light Within the Heart of Courage and Hope for tomorrow.

5. Visioning Practice

Visualizing the body as earth becoming soft with rain, each cell drinking in the Light of Courage and Hope, blessing all beings seen tomorrow.

Final Reflection: The Great Grandmother’s Light in All Seeing

Concludes by reminding:

• You are not only a seer; you are the loom.

• You carry the First Voice (pain and fear), listen for the Second Voice (hope and remembering), and are guided by the Third Voice (sacred inner light).

• Through walking, pausing, and breathing, you weave all three voices into one sacred presence.

• The Great Grandmother’s Light lives not only behind your eyes but within the courage to look again and again with love.
