within a Gaian Nature-Centric world view!
A Gaian Nature-Centric world view
is at the heart of the
Tz’utujiil Maya Way of Living
This next cycle of 2024 “Meditations on Wisdom” will begin a more direct focus on exploring the differences between learning and living from a Human-Centric world view versus learning and living from our Inner Nature. Which is always fully weaved within our Wholeness assisting us to express a Gaian Nature-Centric world view.
A Human-Centric world view is the primary focus behind the ways learning exists within our current form of education.
A Gaian Nature-Centric world view has been the primary focus of learning behind the wisdom of the Indigenous Ways.
Human-Centric is taught.
Gaian Nature-Centric is experienced.
Allowing me to emerge into a “More than Human World View.”
I wrote this piece flying home from my visit in the Tikal Biosphere in the Peten area of Guatemala on 14 August 2023. Today this same piece is experienced within me as my opening into a Gaian Nature-Centric world view!
My Inner Nature allows me to live life within the “More than Human World.”
For I and all of Life dances within the web of interconnectivity.
When I consciously chooses to say “Yes” to Living Life
I add my Living Light to the Light of All That Exists!”
Life that is Seen
Life that is below the surface of the Seen
Life that is Unseen
Through my body’s Inner Nature I enter into my Beingness.
I am at One within the communication of Living Light
A Living Light within Everything - Anything - Everyone of the Unseen
Supporting the Emergence of Life behind Everything - Anything - Everyone that is Visible!
As I am weaved within my participation within a More than Human World We emerge as One
We are at the moment of our Beingness
We are within our Wholeness of the Flow of Living Light
Weaved within the Dance between Seen and Unseen
Supporting the Emergence of our weaved Inner Nature within the Presence of the Living Light as One
For all Unknown Possibilities can Flourish
For All Living Life to Be!

Various ways to experience the inner shifting landscape from a Human-Centric into a Gaian Nature-Centric World View
Tikal Biosphere Writing 2023 - Rewritten on Sunday 2 March 2024
I wrote this initial piece while flying home from my visit in the Tikal Biosphere in the Peten area of Guatemala on 14 August 2023. (Initial writing at the end of this).
Today, Friday 1 March 2024, when I returned from initiating a series of ceremonies within the sacred Mountain for Water and Rain. This was followed by initiating a ceremony within the sacred Cave for the Emergence of Wisdom. I also experienced today for my first time, a short ceremony at the “Living Stream” for the Tz’utujiil Maya.
This stream never changes in depth, flow, and clarity of water. Regardless within draught, within flooding, within changes within the landscape all around this stream. This Living stream remains the same as it is weaved within the sacred landscape of the flowing waters around this landscape.
I was drawn to read once again this same piece I wrote in 2023 from returning from the Tikal Biosphere in Guatemala, and another way of perceiving this same awareness was experienced within me as my opening into the “Living Light within my Gaian Nature-Centric Worldview.”
Place of K’aslik ya’ - Place of the Living Stream
Just spending a few minutes here in my simple ceremony, I felt my Mind was being naturally weaved within and was now experiencing a way of support by my Inner Nature’s weaving within Gaia’s Nature Centric Way of living. The next morning this emerged:
Living Light within a Gaian Nature-Centric Worldview
My Inner Nature is weaved within the inner nature of Gaia
Supporting the life of all that exists
All that exists within the seen and unseen world of Gaia
Allowing us,
Allowing me,
to live life within the “Dream of the unknown possibilities”
The gift of Light that lives within Gaia
The gift of Light that Gaia generates holds for us.
All of Life,
Including myself as a Being that is Human,
Weaved within this dance of Light
Weaved within this Light that is alive within all of inner nature.
This Light, weaved within the heart behind the living, breathing, flowing, emerging web of interconnectivity.
Each time I as a Gaian Being of Light that is human,
I consciously chooses and say “Yes”
Yes, in sharing my unique living light.
A unique Light that is weaved and radiates back to all of life within and around me.
Always changing,
Always emerging,
Always flowing,
Within the Wholeness of Gaian Light.
I am weaved within
I am weaved within and supported by this Living Light,
A Living Light within the Light of All That Exists!”
For this Light:
Is Life that is Seen
Is Life that is below the surface of the Seen
Is Life that is Unseen.
My body:
Weaved within this Light
Weaved within Life’s Inner Nature
Weaved within a supporting emergence in living Life within all of ways of Beingness.
Living at One
Living within the communication of Gaia’s Living Light
Weaved within the heart of Gaian Life
A Light alive within Everything
A Light alive within Anything
A Light alive within Everyone.
A Living Light weaved within all that is seen and unseen
Sharing our collaboration within the Emergence of Life Living
Living Life within Everything
Living Life within Anything
Living Life within Everyone!
Through this weaving of Light,
supporting me living an an active participant within the world of Gaian Life.
Together,
We live within the Light of our Beingness
We live within our Wholeness
We live within the Flow of Living Light.
We share this Light
Within the Dance of Light
Between:
The Light of the Seen
The Light of the Unseen
This Dance is the Emergence of our weaved Inner Nature within the Presence of the Living Light of the Living Dream of Gaia.
For all Unknown Possibilities will always be available
Flourishing
Growing
Emerging
For All Light is weaved within our Life through our Beingness!

Gratitude from a Nature Centric World View
Few weeks ago, I shared with you some writings and videos supporting the Gaian Nature Centric World View from Braiding Sweetgrass, by Robin Wall Kimmererl. (Wednesday 28 February 2024). This week I am exploring how Gratitude within an Indigenous perspective supports my Gaian Nature Centric Way of Living Life.
Excerpt From Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer”
“Ceremonies large and small have the power to focus attention to a way of living awake in the world. The visible became invisible, merging with the soil. It may have been a secondhand ceremony, but even through my confusion I recognized that the earth drank it up as if it were right. The land knows you, even when you are lost.”
A “Human Centric Way” of Gratitude is about talking about and describing the objects and changes that we hold Gratitude for.
A “Gaian Nature Centric Way” of Gratitude is about the experiences and the relationships that are formed between Everything and Anything and Everyone within the outer and inner Natural world.
The Haudenosaunee Tribe lives Life through their Thanksgiving Address – “Greetings to the Natural World.”
The Thanksgiving Address is at heart an invocation of gratitude. As it goes forward, each element of the ecosystem is named in its turn, along with its function. The Thanksgiving Address – “Greetings to the Natural World,” is a lesson in Native science.”

Water
We give thanks to all of the waters of the world for quenching our thirst, for providing strength and nurturing life for all beings. We know its power in many forms—waterfalls and rain, mists and streams, rivers and oceans, snow and ice. We are grateful that the waters are still here and meeting their responsibility to the rest of Creation. Can we agree that water is important to our lives and bring our minds together as one to send greetings and thanks to the Water? Now our minds are one.

As I wrote a few weeks ago, from a Human Centric Way of Gratitude is about objects and changes.
The way I experience writing about Gratitude is honoring the way I perceive gratitude from my Human Centric Way:
Conrad: “I feel the Gratitude for the way my body has learned to change and function in the living world today.”
From my Gaian Nature Centric Way, I experience and write about Gratitude:
Conrad: “I experience the living light of gratitude supporting my body in the ways we engage living life together. My body is always in the act of allowing the reweaving and the relearning to occur as we together explore new ways of experiencing the weaving of my inner Nature weaved within the shared collaboration within the inner nature around me. Together are exploring a living system of wholeness.”
Today, Tuesday 12 March 2024, in Pilates at 6 am my body breaks open to experience a way of feeling and moving and living in relationship to the earth around me. From my toes to my heels, to my ankles, flowing into my calves, knees, thighs, and hips suddenly let go of the old ways of how support lived within me. Feelings of nausea, panic, sweat pouring through me. But no pain. No Pain! A small inner voice speaks to me in a simple one word “trust.”
As I open to trust, I feel the spirit of Gratitude surrounding me in a flow of Light. I stop for a moment.
Catch a few breaths of gratitude flowing in and out of my lungs. Suddenly the next movements change into a beginning of flow. Weaving together a new web of light within my body to the form of the bench I am lying on and the spaces around me.
I feel through the spirit of Gratitude opening me into experiencing the Living Light of Joy that was also present.
As the Living Light of Joy began the forming and shaping of my body into a new way of support and wholeness.
Gratitude for this experience at this moment was only the beginning. What will I explore today as my reciprocity for this exchange of new life?
I light a candle when I return home a few hours later.
Offering the light of the candle for the mystery that is unfolding within my body as my personal earth.
Releasing the stored biological grief held within its fluid watery gel substance.
Gratitude and Blessings to my body intelligence held within and around my cells, muscles, tissues, tendons, bones, joints, and fascia. My guardian that supports the flow of my “Light That Renews” wherever and whenever it is needed within my body.
My body elemental weaving me within and without to the Heart of Nature around and within me.
For the last piece of my reciprocity for today will be the living creative act of storying my experiences.
So I and others to be aware of own unknown possibilities of Light that waits to be explored and expressed through this mystery of the unfolding light of Gratitude that is always present.
Ready to be given back through the various ways I, and the various ways we live Life.
Since November of 2023, I have been journeying monthly to my village to engage directly into the reciprocity of Gratitude through the ceremonial ritual burns and the lighting of candles.
What has been emerging for me is the wisdom, the knowing, that through the words I speak and engage within the movement of my body, along with the other shamans that speak, sing, and create their words and actions, are the Gratitude we give back to Paq’alib’al for its flow of Light and Nurturance, and Substance as we are living life within our shared collaboration.
Ceremonial Burns and Rituals are acts of Gratitude. The glow of light and the images within the fire reflect our joint shared collaboration in the Emergence of Living Life between seen and unseen forms within the Wholeness within all forms of matter.

“The moral covenant of reciprocity calls us to honor our responsibilities for all we have been given, for all that we have taken. It’s our turn now, long overdue. Let us hold a giveaway for Mother Earth, spread our blankets out for her and pile them high with gifts of our own making. Imagine the books, the paintings, the poems, the clever machines, the compassionate acts, the transcendent ideas, the perfect tools. The fierce defense of all that has been given. Gifts of mind, hands, heart, voice, and vision all offered up on behalf of the earth. Whatever our gift, we are called to give it and to dance for the renewal of the world. In return for the privilege of breath.”
“And I remember shkitagen, the firekeeper fungus, the holder of the spark that cannot be extinguished. I go back to where the wisdom lives, in the woods, and humbly ask for help. I lay down my gift, in return for all that is given, and start again.
So much depends on the spark that is nurtured by shkitagen gold and kindled by a song. So much depends on the air, its passage through the tinder nest, strong enough to make it glow, not so strong as to blow it out, breath of wind and not of man, bundle swung back and forth through Creator’s breath to make it grow, embracing bark and dust propagating heat on heat, oxygen is fuel for fuel until smoke plumes billow in sweet fragrance, light erupts, and you hold in your hand a fire.
(TODAY) As the seventh fire people walk the path, we should also be looking for shkitagen, the ones who hold the spark that cannot be extinguished. We find the firekeepers all along the path and greet them with gratitude and humility that against all odds, they have carried the ember forward, waiting to be breathed into life. In seeking the shkitagen of the forest and the shkitagen of the spirit, we ask for open eyes and open minds, hearts open enough to embrace our more-than-human kin, a willingness to engage intelligences not our own. We’ll need trust in the generosity of the good green earth to provide this gift and trust in human people to reciprocate.
I don’t know how the eighth fire (the new emerging people) will be lit. But I do know we can gather the tinder that will nurture the flame, that we can be shkitagen to carry the fire, as it was carried to us. Is this not a holy thing, the kindling of this fire? So much depends on the spark.”
