The Heart and Courage of Life’s Weaving

“I Carry the Mountain in My Breath”

A Ceremonial Introduction to Living Within Two Lands

from the Earth Remembers Series

Blessing in the Tz’utujiil Maya Way

The First Weaving of Light — Receiving Kimoon K’uxlaal

Place your hand over your heart.

Breathe gently through your nose.

Whisper:

“Heart Within me,

I am ready to receive

the cellular light of the land.

Let the volcanoes, the lake, the trees,

the cornfields, the moonflower, the cloud forest, the mountains

weave their light into my chest, my bones, my spirit.

This is Kimoon K’uxlaal —

the many becoming One Heart.”

Rest in silence.

Know that the landscapes are already within you,

their light weaving softly through your cells.

Blessing in a Western Perspective

The First Weaving of Light — Receiving the Inner Cellular Light

Place your hand on your heart.

Feel the warmth of your own presence.

Breathe gently through your nose.

Whisper:

“I open to receive

the light within my body.

I allow the breath to soften my pain.

I let light flow through my spine, my neck, my shoulders.

This light is not outside me,

but already alive in my cells,

ready to guide me into new movement,

new possibilities,

new wholeness.”

Rest for a moment.

Trust that the light has already begun its work within you.

Together, these two blessings form a bridge: one rooted in the Tz’utujiil ceremonial landscapes, the other in Western somatic language. Both will guide you from image breath heart cellular light resting in renewal.

This Illustration, in this series on Courage, reflects the golden inner cellular lights of the loom and the radiant tapestry mirroring the blessing “Ruk'u'x Chuqaa' Chpaam Kimoon K'uxlaal” - The Heart and Courage of Life’s Weaving Within the Weaving of One Heart.” These writings reflect the weaving of the words int these passages into the vision of this artwork evoking the felt journey of our nine senses within their body weaving of our self as the weaver and our self as the tapestry.

The Weaving of the Golden Loom

The loom before you is not outside you —

it is the inner loom of your heart,

woven with radiant cellular threads.

You are the weaver.

You are the tapestry.

The title “Ruk'u'x Chuqaa' Chpaam Kimoon K'uxlaal” - The Heart and Courage of Life’s Weaving reminds you that even within fear, challenge, or chaos,

the heart carries courage.

This courage is not a fight —

it is the soft flame of belonging,

the remembrance that every shadow

is already a thread in the One Heart.

As you look into this image,

your nine senses awaken through the golden weave:

• Sight — You see that every form glows from within.

• Hearing — You listen and the loom whispers back to you.

• Smell — The fragrance of Earth rises as a thread of memory.

• Taste — Sweetness rests upon your tongue,

reminding you of the life already given.

• Touch — The warmth of golden threads hums in your skin.

• Thermoception — You feel the breath of fire and coolness

as the loom radiates through you.

• Nociception — Even the ache of pain shines as a messenger-thread.

• Proprioception — You sense your body as a living staff of light,

upright and woven into the Earth.

• Balance — You walk steady upon the golden road of One Heart.

Through this loom, the cellular light of your heart awakens.

You shift not by denying your fear or chaos,

but by breathing them into the golden threads of inner cellular light,

where they are woven into wholeness.

Here, unknown possibilities emerge.

Here, your way of feeling, thinking, communicating, and acting

flows from the One Heart.

You are the weaver,

and you are the tapestry.

The loom is your body.

The thread is your breath.

The light is your unseen wholeness,

returning now into form.

Meditation with the Golden Loom of One Heart

Opening

Sit comfortably.

Place the image before you — or hold it in your inner vision.

Bring your awareness into your chest, the heart center.

Begin to breathe slowly through the nose —

inhaling and exhaling with ease.

Whisper inwardly:

“Ruk'u'x Chuqaa' Chpaam Kimoon K'uxlaal” - The Heart and Courage of Life’s Weaving Within the Weaving of One Heart.”

Breath and Weaving

With each inhale, draw in whatever challenge, fear, or chaos you carry.

Bring it into the loom of your heart.

With each exhale, release golden threads of light,

weaving them back into the One Heart.

Feel that you are both weaver and tapestry.

The loom is your body, the thread is your breath.

Awakening the Nine Senses

As you gaze at the golden weaving,

invite each of your 9 senses to open into the One Heart.

1. Sight — Inhale, open your eyes softly,

see the light within all forms. Exhale, let vision rest in the heart.

2. Hearing — Inhale, listen to the quiet.

Exhale, notice how the loom itself listens back.

3. Smell — Inhale gently through the nose.

Sense the fragrance of living Earth.

Exhale, let this scent weave into memory.

4. Taste — Inhale, notice the sweetness upon your tongue.

Exhale, receive it as life already given.

5. Touch — Inhale, feel the warmth of breath upon your skin.

Exhale, sense golden threads humming in your body.

6. Thermoception — Inhale, notice the warmth, the coolness.

Exhale, let both be woven as balance.

7. Nociception — Inhale, if pain is present, draw it into the loom.

Exhale, see it become a shining messenger-thread.

8. Proprioception — Inhale, sense your spine as a staff of light.

Exhale, feel your body rooted in Earth.

9. Balance — Inhale, steady yourself upon the golden road.

Exhale, walk now in the One Heart.

Emerging Possibilities

Continue to breathe, feeling each sense alive.

Notice how fear, chaos, and challenge

are no longer heavy burdens —

they are threads woven into the luminous whole.

Feel the inner cellular light of your heart center.

Here, unknown possibilities awaken.

Here, courage breathes quietly, steadily.

From here, you can feel, think, speak, and act

from the One Heart.

Closing Blessing

Whisper again:

“Ruk'u'x Chuqaa' Chpaam Kimoon K'uxlaal” - The Heart and Courage of Life’s Weaving Within the Weaving of One Heart.”

Inhale, drawing all of life into your heart.

Exhale, weaving light back into the world.

Sit for a few moments in stillness.

When ready, gently open your eyes.

Carry this weaving into your day.

Meditation

The Golden Loom of One Heart

Sit or pause where you are.

Bring one hand to your heart center.

Breathe slowly through your nose.

Whisper:

“Ruk'u'x Chuqaa' Chpaam Kimoon K'uxlaal” - The Heart and Courage of Life’s Weaving Within the Weaving of One Heart.”

Inhale — draw in whatever fear, chaos, or challenge is present.

Bring it into the loom of your heart.

Exhale — release golden threads of light,

weaving them back into the One Heart.

Let your nine senses awaken in one breath:

I see light within all forms.

I hear the word that listens back.

I smell the Earth’s breath.

I taste life’s sweetness.

I feel warmth on my skin.

I sense fire and coolness together.

I welcome pain as a messenger-thread.

I stand as a staff of light.

I walk steady in balance.

Rest for a moment in this radiance.

Feel your inner cellular light shining possibilities.

From here, act, speak, and live

as a thread of the One Heart.

This is a Closing Blessing on Courage to complete our five day cycle — flowing directly from the introduction, the two perspectives, and the woven reflection. This weaves the teaching in a ceremonial voice that can be spoken aloud emerging within our own One Heart.

Closing Blessing on Courage

“Ruk'u'x Chuqaa' Chpaam Kimoon K'uxlaal” - The Heart and Courage of Life’s Weaving Within the Weaving of One Heart

I breathe once more into the loom of my heart.

Here, in the fire-seed of each cell,

courage awakens — not as battle, not as conquest,

but as remembering.

Fear is a thread.

Chaos is a thread.

Even pain is a thread.

All belong to the One Heart.

From this belonging, my breath turns struggle into light.

From this light, my body becomes staff,

my senses become river,

my spirit becomes thread in the great weaving of Earth.

Let my courage be both flame within and action without.

Let it be the whisper of the Great Grandmother’s lap

and the strength of my steps upon the road.

Let it guide my words, my choices, my presence,

so that all I do is tied to the fabric of life.

Today, I remember:

Courage is not outside me,

nor beyond me,

but within me —

woven through Kimoon K’uxlaal,

the One Heart that carries all.

And from this One Heart, I live.

And from this One Heart, I love.

And from this One Heart, I walk

into the unknown possibilities of tomorrow.
