The Healer Within the Tree - Manuel Ukuuy

Reflection on the Great Grandmother’s Light and Kimoon K’uxlaal

Manuel Ukuuy —

Spirit of the Tree,

Healer of the Heartwood.

You are the one who heals from within,

who rises from the root,

who faces the enemies of the soul, of your Voice 1 words,

not with fear,

but with Light.

You win with Lightning.

You overcome all dualities.

You quiet reactivity with your presence,

and all that opposes the flow of life within me—

you transform it into strength.

Manuel Ukuuy,

I call to you now:

heal me from within.

Help me remember that wholeness

grows from the center of the tree,

not from the noise of the outer world.

Ceremonial Prayer to Manuel Ukuuy

Manuel Ukuuy,

Spirit of the Tree,

Healer of the Heartwood—

you who dwell in the living center,

you who rise from root to sky.

You are the one who heals from within.

You do not chase pain away with fear—

you meet it with Light.

You rise from the root

to face the enemies of the soul.

You do not resist with anger—

you transform with clarity.

You are the one who wins with Lightning.

You overcome all dualities.

You bring silence to reactivity.

You calm the current of unrest

with your grounded presence.

And all that opposes the sacred flow of life within me—

you do not fight it,

you transmute it.

You turn it into strength.

Manuel Ukuuy,

I call to you now:

descend through my body like a root of light.

Heal me from within.

Return me to the quiet center—

to the heartwood,

to the knowing that wholeness grows

not from the noise of the outer world,

but from the center of the Tree.

Let me live from that center.

Let me breathe from that stillness.

Let me rise from the root

with you.

Reflection: The Heart Within Manuel Ukuuy

Assist me, Manuel Ukuuy,

to receive the Heart within you

through my remembering of the Great Grandmother’s Light.

Under the branches of your limbs and leaves,

your shade is Good Medicine.

Your quiet presence teaches my cells how to soften,

how to open to the weaving of Light that holds all life.

You are woven within the heart of the Three Volcanoes,

within the mountains that rise like prayers,

within the cloud forests that whisper their misted blessings,

within the lake that reflects the dawn,

within the valleys and plains of corn and wildflowers.

You are part of Kimoon K’uxlaal —

the Weaving of Many into One Heart,

reminding me that life is always lived in relationship.

Manuel Ukuuy and the Three Voices

Voice 1 (The Mind of Survival)

When I am trapped in Voice 1,

I feel only my pain, my fear, my anger.

I see myself as separate from the tree,

from the land,

from the beauty that surrounds me.

My thoughts circle like trapped birds:

“I must fight this alone.

I am broken.

There is no healing for me.”

Voice 2 (The Light of Remembering)

When I sit beneath your branches,

placing my back against your trunk,

feeling the quiet rise of sap within you,

I begin to hear Voice 2 whisper:

“You are not alone.

Your roots are woven into my roots.

Your breath is woven into my leaves.

You are part of the Great Weaving.”

My breath deepens.

My microbiome awakens its diversity.

My bones remember their belonging.

Voice 3 (The Sacred Voice of Becoming)

In this stillness,

held within your shade,

I feel the emergence of Voice 3:

“You are a living light within the web of life.

Your beauty is not yours alone;

it is the beauty of the Earth seeing itself through you.”

Here, grief and love become one.

Here, the quiet joy of the Great Grandmother’s Light

weaves through my cells.

Here, I rise rooted in strength,

becoming a giver of Light within Kimoon K’uxlaal.

(Above image): Here is the representation of the cellular light within one tree representing Manuel Ukuuy. Reflecting the weaving of its cellular light as weaved within a human being’s inner mystical cellular light. The focus of this image is the one-to-one weaving within the inner mystical cellular light of a tree and within a human being, within the inner mystical cellular light of the landscape around you-as far as you can imagine. This is at the heart of the writings of “Manuel Ukuuy: The Tree Who Remembers Us Back to Life.” This is reflected within the writings of “Remembering: “The Weaving of Many into One Heart, reminding us that life is always lived in relationship - the Kimoon K’uxlaal.”

Closing Blessing

Manuel Ukuuy,

Healer of the Heartwood,

remind me each day:

Under your shade, I am healed.

Within your heart, I remember my own.

In the Great Weaving,

my life becomes a blessing to all beings.

Morning Rooting (5 minutes)

Before beginning your day, stand or sit upright.

Imagine the inner mystical cellular - “Healer Tree - Manuel Ukuuy”before you:

Inhale slowly through your nose, feeling your feet rooted into the Earth.

Exhale gently, imagining roots growing from your feet deep into the soil.

Silently whisper:

“Manuel Ukuuy, root me in your quiet strength today.”
