Ceremonial Bone-Breathing Introduction

Walking the Six Landscapes of Healing Breath - Part 11c

“I Carry the Mountain in My Breath”

A Ceremonial Introduction to Living Within Two Lands

from the Earth Remembers Series

This Ceremonial Bone-Breathing Introduction is a gentle daily ritual where each of the six landscapes offers a single breath phrase and a bone focus to accompany healing, pain relief, and inner weaving.

Ceremonial Bone-Breathing Introduction

Walking the Six Landscapes of Healing Breath - Part 11c

Spoken from Conrad

Elder of the Bones, in the Weaving of Kimoon K’uxlaal

How to Begin

1. Find a place of ease. You may lie in bed, sit supported, or recline with pillows.

2. Place both hands on your body. One hand over the heart, the other on a place of pain or heaviness.

3. Breathe through the nose only. Inhale softly, let the breath flow into your bones; exhale longer, allowing tension and fear to melt away.

4. Invite one landscape at a time. Each breath phrase can be repeated 3–5 times, slowly, with your eyes closed or softly open.

5. When finished, close with both hands over the heart, whispering:

“Many threads. One Heart. I am still light.”

1. The Mountains – Breath of Dignity

Bone focus: Spine, hips, knees (places that hold weight).

Gesture: Place one hand at the base of your spine or sacrum.

Breath phrase:

Inhale — “I receive the stillness of the mountain.”

Exhale — “I carry my pain with dignity.”

2. The Lake – Breath of Belonging

Bone focus: Ribs, sternum, collarbones.

Gesture: Place both hands over the chest.

Breath phrase:

Inhale — “I receive the light beneath the surface.”

Exhale — “I am held in the waters of belonging.”

3. The Forest of Trees – Breath of Still Presence

Bone focus: Legs, pelvis, and lower spine.

Gesture: Hands on thighs or knees (or imagining the bark of a tree beneath your palms).

Breath phrase:

Inhale — “I stand rooted like the trees.”

Exhale — “Stillness is sacred motion.”

4. The Cornfields – Breath of Inclusion

Bone focus: Hands, wrists, fingers.

Gesture: Lightly press thumb to each finger as you breathe, or hold your hands together.

Breath phrase:

Inhale — “I receive the warmth of the ancestors.”

Exhale — “Even broken bodies belong.”

5. The Cloud Forest – Breath of Courage in Uncertainty

Bone focus: Skull, neck, upper spine.

Gesture: Place one hand at the base of your skull and one hand over the heart.

Breath phrase:

Inhale — “I breathe in the mist of not-knowing.”

Exhale — “I can be here without answers.”

6. The Three Volcanoes – Breath of First Fire

Bone focus: Heart center, chest, and pelvis (the inner hearth).

Gesture: One hand over the heart, the other over the lower belly.

Breath phrase:

Inhale — “I receive the strength of San Pedro, Atitlán, Tolimán.”

Exhale — “There is still light. Even here.”

Closing Weaving Breath (Kimoon K’uxlaal)

After finishing the six breaths (or any one that you choose for the day), place both hands over the heart, soften your jaw and shoulders, and take 3 slow nasal breaths, whispering on the final exhale:

“I weave my many voices into One Heart.

I am held by the mountains, the lake, the forest,

the cornfields, the cloud forest, and the volcanoes.

My body does not need to be healed to be holy.

The light lives within me — even here.”

Here is the 6-Day Ceremonial Bone-Breathing Guide — a simple and spacious daily practice where each landscape becomes your companion for healing, rest, and the weaving of inner light.

Each day includes a short invocation, a bone-breath visualization, and a journal or whisper prompt.

6-Day Ceremonial Bone-Breathing Guide

Walking the Six Landscapes of Healing Breath

Spoken from Conrad – Elder of the Bones, held in Kimoon K’uxlaal (The Weaving of Many into One Heart)

Day 1 – The Mountains: Breath of Dignity

Invocation:

“Great Mountains, I lean into your strength.

You do not run from your weight.

You carry it with dignity, as I can carry my pain.

Teach me the stillness that is unshaken.”

Bone-Breath Visualization:

• Place one hand at the base of your spine (or imagine the weight of the mountains pressing gently into your back).

• Inhale through the nose, imagining breath rising like cool mountain air along the spine.

• Pause, letting the breath settle deep into the bone marrow.

• Exhale slowly, releasing shame or heaviness, whispering:

“I carry my pain with dignity.”

• Repeat 5 gentle breaths.

Journal/Whisper Prompt:

• “What weight am I carrying today that can be held with dignity rather than shame?”

Day 2 – The Lake: Breath of Belonging

Invocation:

“Sacred Lake Atitlán, mother of shimmering light,

even when clouds hide you, your waters still shine.

Show me the light that lives beneath my pain.”

Bone-Breath Visualization:

• Place both hands over the ribs and sternum.

• Inhale, imagining breath rippling like water under the surface of the lake.

• Pause, sensing your chest and ribs held like a vessel of water.

• Exhale, whispering:

“I am held in the waters of belonging.”

• Repeat 5 breaths, each one softer than the last.

Journal/Whisper Prompt:

• “What light or tenderness still lives within me, even when pain feels heavy?”

Day 3 – The Forest of Trees: Breath of Still Presence

Invocation:

“Elder Trees, Manuel Ukuuy and your family,

you grow by standing still.

Teach me the strength of rootedness,

even when I cannot move.”

Bone-Breath Visualization:

• Place your hands on your thighs or knees (or imagine the rough bark of a tree under your palms).

• Inhale, imagining roots growing down from your pelvis and legs into the earth.

• Pause, feeling the deep stillness of the earth.

• Exhale, whispering:

“Stillness is sacred motion.”

• Repeat 5 slow breaths.

Journal/Whisper Prompt:

• “Where in my life can I let stillness be enough today?”

Day 4 – The Cornfields: Breath of Inclusion

Invocation:

“Sacred Cornfields, with your red, yellow, white, and black kernels,

you remind me that even the smallest leaf belongs.

Teach me to honor my brokenness as part of the circle.”

Bone-Breath Visualization:

• Hold your hands together, lightly pressing thumb to each finger with each inhale.

• Inhale, feeling warmth spreading through the small bones of the hands and wrists.

• Pause, sensing the presence of ancestors walking among the rows.

• Exhale, whispering:

“Even broken bodies belong.”

• Repeat 5 soft breaths.

Journal/Whisper Prompt:

• “Where do I still feel connected to the circle of life, even in my pain?”

Day 5 – The Cloud Forest: Breath of Courage in Uncertainty

Invocation:

“Sacred Cloud Forest, with your mists of unknowing,

you teach me to breathe inside what I cannot control.

Help me sit with not-knowing and still feel alive.”

Bone-Breath Visualization:

• Place one hand at the base of the skull and one over the heart.

• Inhale, imagining cool mist drifting through the bones of the skull and spine.

• Pause, resting in the mystery.

• Exhale, whispering:

“I can be here without answers.”

• Repeat 5 slow breaths.

Journal/Whisper Prompt:

• “What can I soften today, even without knowing the outcome?”

Day 6 – The Three Volcanoes: Breath of First Fire

Invocation:

“San Pedro, Atitlán, Tolimán — sacred volcanoes,

you awaken the first fire inside me.

Even in pain, I can feel a spark of light.”

Bone-Breath Visualization:

• Place one hand over the heart and one over the lower belly.

• Inhale, drawing strength from the three volcanoes into your chest and pelvis.

• Pause, sensing warmth between your hands.

• Exhale, whispering:

“There is still light. Even here.”

• Repeat 5 glowing breaths.

Journal/Whisper Prompt:

• “Where did I feel even the smallest ember of hope or warmth today?”

Closing Weaving (Day 6 or Day 7)

On the final day, or anytime you feel ready, bring your hands to your heart and whisper:

“Mountains, Lake, Forest, Cornfields, Cloud Forest, Volcanoes —

You have walked with me.

You have shown me that my pain can hold light.

I weave my many voices into One Heart.

The light does not come after pain — it lives through it.

This, too, is sacred.”
